António Hungria Rosa
AHR was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and while pursuing his studies on Classical Philology at Lisbon University he graduated with distinction as Pianist at the National Conservatory of his native town, as a pupil of Angeles Presutto da Gama andHelena Matos, having also worked with Prof G. Paiva, Artur Santos, M. S. Kastner, Elisa Lamas and F. Broos: meanwhile he also attended as a performing student Masterclasses of such Masters as D. Helena de Sá e Costa, Jorg Demus, N. Lee and Franco Angeleri.
Besides his artistic activities he taught at several Portuguese Music Schools (Tomar, T. Vedras, Leiria, JMP) and served as well as a Juror in several national competitions for young Musicians.Some of his students have been awarded prizes in such contests.He is actually Piano Teacher at Lisbon National Conservatory Music School.
