I. Ouverture A small homage to the French spirit, to Corrette, Rameau, Couperin, Chabrier, Bizet, Milhaud and Poulenc, among so many others, whose insolent refinement greatly contributed to the dissipation of the Wagnerian mists. It is a divertimento for woodwinds, instruments for which I have written much music since the beginning of 2005.
