I wrote the Suite de Hasék between the 19th November and the 16th December 2005. Each one of the eight mouvements has a diferent character: bucholic, grotesc, nostalgic, festive, and so on. In almost all of them we can breath the parfum of the music from Moravia and Bohemia, above all on mouvements 3, 4, 6 and 8, since the Suite was inspired by the hilarious tales from “The Brave Soldier Schweik”, by Jaroslav Hasék.
