Bruno was born in Lisbon. Master in Music Education from the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas - Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a degree in Music Theory.
From 1995 to 2010 he was Teacher and head of music department in ALPM - Loures.
Since 2010 he is head of Music Theory department of Conservatório Regional de Artes do Montijo.
He participated in several courses of Musical Pedagogy including Music Learning Theory of E. Gordon.
Studied music with Paulo Ferreira de Castro - Music and Thought; with João Pinheiro - Music Theory; with Helena Rodrigues - Music Learning Theory; and with Ruy Vieira Nery - Music in Portugal.
Education studied: with João Nogueira - Educational Psychology; with António Candeias - History and Education Politics; and with Maria do Carmo Silva - Education and Multiculturalism.
Currently, he is head of Music Theory departement at the CRAM and he is connected to music projects in childhood, Workshops of music and participates in exploratory studies of musical research.
