Ernesto Donoso (Sevilha, 1978) is licensed in Composition at the Conservatory of Music "Manuel Castillo" in Seville, and is an investigator connected to CESEM (Sociology Studies Center and Musical Aesthetics). University Master of Hispanic Music from the University of Salamanca, is currently developing a doctorate in Musicology at the New University of Lisbon.

He attended courses taught by composers like Luis de Pablo, Horacio Vaggione, Marc-André Dalbavie, José Manuel López López, among others. His music has been interpreted both in Portugal and in Spain. Recently he was awarded with the third prize in the "First International Competition of GMCL Composition / Jorge Peixinho" in the category of Chamber Music.
