This work, divided in three parts, presents essentially a strong rhythmic component.
In the first movement, Moderato con movimento, we find several rhythmic motives that repeat themselves, passing through the three instruments. Small melodies with subtle phrasing, also reveal the very charismatic environment of this movement. The second part of the work, Largo ma precipitado, introduces some technical and timbral effects, mainly in the performance of the accordion and the soprano saxophone. In an intimate atmosphere, amazing sonorities are recreated, where serenity and madness complement each other. The third movement, Vivo con spirito, is undoubtedly the exponent of the work, due in large part to its virtuous character. The constant rhythmic interaction between instruments appeals to musicians for a perfect synchronism.
Note that musical writing for the double bass is technically very demanding. Throughout the piece, there is a very balanced role between the performance of the three instruments.
