Vincenzo Parisi brilliantly graduated in piano under the guidance of Irene Schiavetta. Later, he perfected himself with some of the most famous contemporary pianists, including Aquiles Delle Vigne at the Universität Mozarteum, Massimiliano Damerini, Andrea Lucchesini, Antonio Ballista, Boris Petrushansky.
He studied composition first with Fabio Vacchi and currently at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan with Mario Garuti, Gabriele Manca, Carlo Ballarini and Mauro Bonifacio.
He studied musicology and analysis for a long time with the musicologist and essayist Fernando Vincenzi.
Winner of the 1st Prize of 2021 Composition Competition of Conservatorio G.Verdi in Milan (Jury: Sandro Gorli, Giovanni Verrando, Cristina Frosini, Luca Macchi, Federico Gardella).
Finalist at the international competition Macerata Opera Festival 2019 for writing a work of musical theater together with the Hungarian director Hannah Gelesz.
He’s one of the 14 selected composers of NewMusicWeek 2021 with Francesco Filidei and Mauro Lanza, with mdi ensemble in residence, and one of selected composers of Festival Mixtur 2021 in Barcelona. Founder of the rock band Kafka On the Shore (more than 200 concerts throughout Europe with the album Beautiful But Empty published by La Fabbrica, Independent Label), he was Casio testimonial in the Gran Casio Hybrid Experience 2016. In may 2020 he released his first album, Zolfo, solo piano composition inspired by Ancient Sicilian Folk Songs, produced by Piano B Agency.
He has collaborated in the writing of the piano teaching book Su e giù per le scale written by Irene Schiavetta and published by Dantone Editore. He has also written articles of an economic nature concerning the world of music for the prestigious Suonare News magazine.
He graduated in Economics for Arts, Culture and Communication at the L. Bocconi University.
